Headline News: Good and Bad

God’s feature news is the gospel – uplifting news. It is exactly what we need. Jesus is the living much needed refresher – the beam of daylight we need. Trust in Him and all is made right. Sins are excused. Life has a reason. Issues are estimated not by trouble, yet by God’s brilliance.

How flawless on the mountains are the feet of him who brings uplifting news, who reports harmony and brings uplifting news of joy, who declares salvation, and says to Zion, “Your God rules!” (Isaiah 52:7 NASB).

“The Spirit of the Lord God has arrived, on the grounds that the Lord has blessed Me to lecture great greetings to poor people; He has sent Me to recuperate the beaten down, to broadcast freedom to the hostages, and the opening of the jail to the individuals who are bound; to declare the satisfactory year of the Lord, and the day of retribution of our God; to comfort all who grieve, to reassure the individuals who grieve in Zion, to give them magnificence for remains, the oil of delight for grieving, the piece of clothing of acclaim for the soul of greatness; that they might be called trees of honesty, the planting of the Lord, that He might be celebrated” (Isaiah 61:1-3 NKJV).
